Abstract |
INTRODUCTION The purpose of this study was to develop the normative database on low-extremity isokinetic strength of knee extension/flexion and leg press in men and women by using newly developed isokinetic dynamometer. METHOD 375 adults participated in this study. This paper presented the absolute values(peak torque) and normalized values(absolute values divided by the individual's body weight×100) to sex and side. RESULT Results of this study were as following.
CONCLUSION These normative values could be used to assess strength for exercise prescription and designing of exercise program of adults. |
