The purpose of this study was to suggest a direction of Kinesiologist professionals through reexamining of the Kinesiology concept and structure.
document analysis was used abundant express and the articles about concepts, structure and the limitations related with sport, kinetics, exercise were collected
First, traditionally the concept and name of P. E has been changed in accord with the social trend. The name of P.E., education through the physical, and sport had a weakness to include the whole categories of this discipline itself. Second, the name kinesiology was the alternative of the traditional P.E. and etc. The key concept and structure was suggested through reexamining kinesiology by two ways. That is, one is called academic-based reexamining, the other is professional-based reexamining. Third the direction for collegiate curriculum was suggested in four directions.
If this discipline had a concept and structures based on the kinesiology, and collegiate curriculum were provided, then the future of kinesiology in Korea will be prosperous.
Keywords: kinesiology, kinesiology concept, kinesiology structure, kinesiologic professionals, education for kinesiologic professionals
