Abstract |
INTRODUCTION The objective of this research is to provide sports programs targeting senior employees working for small and medium sized companies in the form of health care & welfare policy as a provision for aging society. METHOD The proposal is based on the theoretical background about current conditions and debatable issues on elderly society, aging and physical activities, sports based on experiences, current health conditions and health problems of senior employees, and musculoskeletal system disorder. RESULT Employees in the age of 40s and above working for small and medium sized companies with less than 300 employees, lacking physical exercise facilities, will be served with various health programs including diagnostic check on musculoskeletal system disorder and rehabilitating program, group exercise program, new sports program, etc. Effective implementation of such policy requires a selection of potential supervising institution with responsibilities on qualification management and production of labor force. What values the most for its perfect execution is to set a thorough delivery system from central government to local government and lastly to supervising institution. CONCLUSION This proposal will take an initiative step on encountering aging society as a possible preventive policy not a remedy. |
