METHOD 30 subjects were recruited from Cheong-ju's C-hospital inpatient satisfying requirement for this study. They were divided into Task-Oriented training group and Conventional therapy group. Seventeen subjects received Task-Oriented training program at the Department of Occupational therapy. The forty minutes daily therapy were conducted for 8 weeks for the individual patient. For evaluating, Mini-Mental Status Examination(MMSE-K), Motor-Free Visual Perception Test(MVPT-V), Functional Reach Test(FRT) and Functional Independence Measure(FIM) were used to assess upper extremity function, cognitive function, visual perception, standing balance and abilities of daily living activities. Collected data were statistically analysed by SPSS PC(ver. 12.0) for descriptive statistics, paired t-test and independent t-test. RESULT In experimental group, there were significant differences in MVPT-V(p<0.05), FRT(p<0.05), and FIM(p<0.05). In control group, here were significant differences in MVPT-V(p<0.05). there were significant differences in MVPT-V(p<0.05), FRT(p<0.05), and FIM(p<0.05) between groups.
CONCLUSION task-oriented training program improved that visual perception, standing balance and abilities of daily living activities. In generally our country hospital is exists separately where the daily living training and cognitive treatment room is not many. When interest and motivation it gives the substantial and positive task which is the possibility of making to patients who means becomes a more help in functional recovery.
